The undersigned (“the payer”) agrees that payment may be made by withdrawal from the specified account or an account specified by the payer later, at the request of the specified payee for payment to him on a certain date (“due date”) via Autogiro. The payer agrees that the processing of personal data provided in this consent is processed by the payer’s payment service provider, the payee, the payee’s payment service provider and Bankgirocentralen BGC AB for administration of the service. The data controllers for this personal data processing are the payer, the payment service provider, the payee and the payee’s payment service provider. The payer may at any time request access to or correction of the personal data by contacting the payer’s payment service provider. Further information on the processing of personal data in connection with payments may be found in the terms and conditions for the account and in the agreement with the payee. The payer may withdraw his consent at any time, which will result in the service being terminated in its entirety.
Autogiro is a payment service that involves payments being made from the payer’s account at the initiative of the payee. In order for the payer to be able to pay via Autogiro, the payer must give his consent to the payee that he may initiate payments from the payer’s account. In addition, the payer’s payment service provider (e.g. bank or payment institution) must approve that the account can be used for Autogiro and the payee must approve the payer as a user of Autogiro. The payer’s payment service provider is not obliged to check the payer’s eligibility or notify the payer in advance of requested withdrawals. Withdrawals are debited from the payer’s account in accordance with the rules applicable to the payer’s payment service provider. The payer receives notification of withdrawals from his payment service provider. The consent can be transferred to another account with the payment service provider or to an account with another payment service provider at the payer’s request.
A banking day refers to all days except Saturday, Sunday, Midsummer’s Eve, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve or another public holiday.
The payer will be notified by the payee of the amount, due date and payment method no later than eight banking days before the due date. This can be notified before each individual due date or at one time regarding several future due dates. If the notification refers to several future due dates, the notification must be submitted no later than eight banking days before the first due date. However, this does not apply to cases where the payer has approved the withdrawal in connection with the purchase or order of goods or services. In such a case, the payer will receive notification from the payee of the amount, due date and payment method in connection with the purchase and/or order. By signing this consent, the payer gives his consent to payments covered by the payee’s notification according to this paragraph being made.
The payer must ensure that coverage is available in the account no later than 00.01 on the due date. If the payer does not have sufficient funds in the account on the due date, this may mean that payments will not be made. If there is insufficient funds for payment on the due date, the payee may make further withdrawal attempts during the coming banking days. The payer may, upon request, receive information from the payee about the number of withdrawal attempts.
The payer may stop a payment by contacting either the payee no later than two banking days before the due date or their payment service provider no later than the banking day before the due date at the time specified by the payment service provider. If the payer stops a payment as above, this means that the current payment is stopped on a single occasion. If the payer wants all future payments initiated by the payee to be stopped, the payer must revoke the consent.
revocation The consent is valid until further notice. The payer has the right to revoke the consent at any time by contacting the payee or their payment service provider. In order to stop payments that have not yet been made, the notice of revocation of the consent must be received by the payee no later than five banking days before the due date, or by the payer’s payment service provider no later than the banking day before the due date at the time specified by the payment service provider.
The right of the payee and the payer’s payment service provider to terminate the connection to Autogiro The payee has the right to terminate the payer’s connection to Autogiro thirty days after the payee has notified the payer thereof. However, the payee has the right to immediately terminate the payer’s connection to Autogiro if the payer has repeatedly failed to have sufficient account balances on the due date or if the account to which the consent relates is closed or if the payee considers that the payer should not participate in Autogiro for other reasons. The payer’s payment service provider has the right to terminate the payer’s connection to Autogiro in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable between the payer’s payment service provider and the payer.
When does Ramadan 2025 start?
Ramadan 2025 is getting closer!
As per the estimates of the European Fatwa Council, the holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin on March 1, 2025
. With just a short time left, now is the perfect moment to prepare our hearts, minds, and actions for this blessed month. May Allah (SWT) grant us the strength, iman, and ihsan to reach Ramadan in the best of states.
Why Prepare for Ramadan?
Ramadan is not just about fasting—it is a time of deep spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and connection with Allah. Preparing for it ensures that we maximize its blessings and enter with a heart ready for transformation. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions would begin their spiritual and physical preparations well in advance, setting an example for us to follow.
Steps to Prepare for Ramadan
1. Strengthen Your Relationship with the Quran
The month of Ramadan is the month of the Quran. Start by increasing your recitation, understanding, and memorization of the Quran. Reflect on its meanings and apply its teachings in daily life.
2. Increase Your Acts of Worship
Begin performing extra prayers (salah), reciting dhikr, and making du’a consistently. Tahajjud (night prayer), even if prayed occasionally before Ramadan, can help build the habit of Qiyam-ul-Layl (standing in prayer at night) during the holy month.
3. Practice Fasting Voluntarily
Engage in sunnah fasts, such as those on Mondays and Thursdays or the 13th, 14th, and 15th of each lunar month. This not only prepares your body for Ramadan but also strengthens your patience and self-control.
4. Purify Your Heart and Intentions
Forgive others, seek forgiveness, and let go of grudges. A heart free from resentment is better prepared to receive the light and blessings of Ramadan. Purify your intentions and remind yourself why you fast: for the sake of Allah alone.
5. Give in Charity (Sadaqah)
Ramadan is the month of generosity, and what better way to prepare than by increasing our sadaqah now? Supporting those in need not only earns immense rewards but also softens the heart and increases gratitude.
6. Organize Your Schedule for Ramadan
Plan your days to include Quran reading, additional prayers, and family time. Minimize distractions, such as excessive screen time, and focus on spiritual growth.
7. Make Sincere Du’a
Ask Allah to allow you to witness Ramadan and to bless you with health, strength, and sincerity in worship. The Prophet (PBUH) used to make this supplication:
“O Allah, bless us in Rajab and Sha’ban and allow us to reach Ramadan.” (Ahmad & Al-Tabarani)
May Allah Accept Our Worship
As we approach this sacred month, let’s take these steps to prepare with sincerity and devotion. May Allah (SWT) accept our fasting, prayers, and worship. May He grant us the ability to make the most of Ramadan and draw closer to Him. Ameen!
Let’s begin now, so when Ramadan arrives, we can welcome it with open hearts, ready to embrace its countless blessings. Are you ready for Ramadan 2025?
